ABOUT
AN INDEPENDENT, NO-NONSENSE, CULTURE-AWARE CREATIVE WITH A BACKGROUND IN DESIGN & ART DIRECTION.
I’m Mario and I make shit look good.
Born in London, raised in Coventry, educated in Liverpool, adopted by Manchester. I’ve moved around and there’s a reason why that matters. I believe that cultural awareness allows us to break down barriers, and once they are broken, there lies an opportunity to build inclusive brands and campaigns that connect to real people.
My journey started off in 2014 where I worked at an independent design studio. Over the years I gained experience by designing for a mixture of commercial, corporate and consumer brands as part of creative agencies and start-ups. I never wanted to stick on one thing so I did a bit of everything: branding, print, packaging, websites, social…you name it, I’ve probably done it - all contributing to my role as a multi-disciplinary designer.
In 2019 I accidentally fell into creative and art direction and ended up working for some of my dream clients within the fashion and music industries. It was a total blag at first but having worked with some great creative mentors I realised that I found a new love for more creative and conceptual thinking. My no-nonsense approach to creative grew by directing production teams, photographers, videographers, designers, illustrators and artworkers to achieve some top-quality campaigns for some of the world’s biggest brands.
So…long story short, I create concepts, I write treatments, I direct visuals, I design and above all, I’m passionate about communicating art and design to real people (and I fucking love it mate).

If someone ever gives you shit for not being creative enough, just pay me instead and pass off my ideas as your own. Because obviously, you need someone to guide your project and create visuals that are just mind-blowing.
I specialise in bringing creative ideas to life, managing everything from the initial brainstorming session to the final execution. Whether you need help with generating concepts, crafting storyboards and mood boards, or defining your creative direction, I've got you covered. And I love teaming up with writers, photographers, designers, and illustrators, giving feedback and bouncing ideas around (ideally over a pint).

“Hello, can I redesign your logo? Yes, that'll be a £100,000 for a squiggle.” Because heaven forbid your brand doesn’t have a comprehensive visual package that screams “LOOK AT ME!.”
I’ll craft you a visual identity that embodies your brand’s personality and values, leaving a lasting impression on your audience. This service encompasses the design of elements such as logos, colour palettes, typography, imagery, and brand guidelines.

A user interface is like a joke. If you have to explain it, it’s not that good.
That’s why I’ll build you a website that's both easy on the eyes and easy to use. I'll make sure it's exactly what you need to impress your visitors and get them hooked.

Because everyone knows a PowerPoint slide can change the world...or at least the meeting.
Whether it’s a live pitch or a presentation to be shared with your teams and clients, I design decks with creative storytelling and stunning visuals.

It’s great that you value your social life. It’s a good thing that I don’t.
Artworking involves the meticulous preparation of design files for production, whether for print or digital platforms. From refining layout and typography to adjusting colours and resolution, artworking ensures that designs are polished and ready. Artworking: Because perfectionism never looked so... well, exhausting. -
Forget about reaching a global audience with a click - let's go back to the good old days of snail mail and carrier pigeons.
Print and Editorial covers the typical business cards, brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and signage but also high-end, custom, bespoke publications.

Welcome to the exciting world of Apparel Design - where originality goes to die! Because obviously, the world is just dying for another T-shirt with a generic logo slapped on it.
However, if you’re actually a sick brand/band/DJ with financial backing I can create everything from logos to tech packs for all your apparel.

Fuck sustainability. I’ll make your products look great - even if the planet has to suffer for it.
